Dear Parents,

As your trusted childcare provider, I am excited to introduce a new initiative aimed at enhancing my childcare services and providing additional support to you and your family. The Teen Childcare Apprentices program offers a unique opportunity for older kids I've worked with to gain valuable experience in childcare while assisting families within our network.

How It Works: When my schedule becomes full and I am unable to accommodate all requests for childcare, I will offer the services of a Teen Childcare Apprentice to assist your family. These apprentices are teens who have expressed a keen interest in childcare and are eager to gain experience in babysitting. Many of these teens are kids that I once took care of or assisted in some way, and I am proud to support them as they embark on their own journey in childcare.

What You Can Expect:

• A reliable and responsible Teen Childcare Apprentice selected (by you) from within the network.
• Assistance with childcare needs during times when my availability is limited.
• Peace of mind knowing that your child is in capable hands.

Flexibility and Convenience:This program offers flexibility and convenience for both you and your child. You have the option to accept or decline the assistance of a Teen Childcare Apprentice based on your preferences and needs at any given time.

For transparency reasons, these are the terms and conditions:

1. Introduction: These terms and conditions govern the use of the Teen Childcare Apprentice network facilitated by Maxwell Mandell. By accessing or using this network, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
2. Information Sharing: I will not share identifying information of the Teen Childcare Apprentices with hiring families without the explicit consent of the Teen Apprentices' parents or legal guardians.
3. Shared Information: Information, in which that is already consented to be shared with hiring families, may include:
   • Teen Childcare Apprentice's Certifications and Experience (if applicable)
   • Teen Childcare Apprentice's Current age
   • Reasons why the Teen Childcare Apprentice wants to work with kids
   • Teen Childcare Apprentice's pricing
   • Teen Childcare Apprentice's other notes that they want to share, such as preference of age range, general location, preferred hours, preferred type of childcare, etc.
4. Responsibility of Hiring Families: Hiring families are responsible for verifying the information provided by the Teen Childcare Apprentices and assessing their suitability for the childcare needs of their family.
5. Limit of Liability: I act solely as a facilitator connecting hiring families with Teen Childcare Apprentices. I do not assume any liability for the actions or conduct of the Teen Childcare Apprentices. Hiring families agree to hold Maxwell Mandell harmless from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from their interactions with Teen Childcare Apprentices.
6. Indemnification: Hiring families agree to indemnify and hold Maxwell Mandell, its agents, and affiliates, harmless from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from their use of the Teen Childcare Apprentice network.
7. Modification of Terms: I reserve the right to modify or update these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the Teen Childcare Apprentice network after any such changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms and conditions.
8. Governing Law: These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Albemarle County, Virginia.
